FP was done, when to expect interview?

My DO is Tampa.
Filed in early August 2005.
FP were done late October 2005.
I am still waiting on my interview letter.

When should I expect to receive interview letter and how long I should wait before requesting an info pass?
Also, when I go to check my status on USCIS website it still shows it.
 
Tampa is only at May 18th.....Usually they send interview

Letters 2 months before to 1.5 months....So you are still 1 month away to even start asking for the interview letter....

Tampa is now 7.5 months which is not very good , but still better than other DO's :) ....

Timeline:

Jan 30th:Submitted to TSC.

Hey can you elaborate on your previous post?

7.5 months is not that bad. I have heard a lot of people say it was 6 months from start to finish. Guarav(I believe his nickname was said that, as well as people that work with my Mom).

In February it is going to be 6 months for me and still no interview letter.

Btw God Bless you in your process and becoming a citizen fairly fast!

Upto the last 2 months it was 6 months....i am basing it on the timelines they send, nothing more. Maybe the holidays and the only person who does the process maybe on vacation....just guesses from thin air......also i saw in another thread that the timelines mayb if there i a given threshold of applications say 100 with that priority date they will send that date......

i have a good feeling that you will get your interview notice within the next two weeks....good luck ;)
 
It is my understanding that your case status should dissapear online right before they send you an interview letter. Because the file at this point leaves the service center and gets mailed to the DO. Is that correct?
