FP vs Biometrics

It is confusing, I got my 1st FP notice for biometrics, the subject is "Fingerprint Notice", but in the body, it says "To process your application, the USCIS must capture your biometrics. Please appear at the below application support center at the appointed date and time to have your biometrics taken." It is no where inside the body saying fingerprinting. So do you think it is for all of the biometrics, not just the fingerprinting? Should I expect another FP notice for regular fingerprint of all of my fingers. Can anybody please put some light on this?

Biometrics and FP is same. You wont have 10 FP notices for your 10 fingers :)

Thanks for the reply, according to another thread, biometrics is the process which takes your photo, signature and print of index finger, not 10 fingers. Please see the link. Did you have your FP done? What is in your notice - biometrics or FP?

Mine says FP notice on top and then says we need to collect biometrics. For me it makes no diffrence because they can certainly capture my face at same time they capture my finger prints!
