FP validity

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how long FP is valid?
Is it 1 yr or 18 months?

I think it is valid for 15 Months. Lately I have heard rumors about the FP being valid for 18 Months, but no USCIS confirmation regarding this.

Neither. The Finger Print RESULTS, as submitted by the FBI to USCIS are valid for 15 months.
The FP are valid for ever, if you have them. Unfortunately, USCIS does not keep the FPs so far, so they cannot re-send them to the FBI again. In the future, they will be able to store the FPs............
