the more I check on the progress dates, the more I wonder about how long it takes and more over why for the IL to arrive after the FP.
In some cases, the IL comes within 7 weeks, in others it appears to take 5 month or more. On the other hand, at times it seems to take long from the PD to the FP. 3 month in my case.
Even with the dradded name check, 5 month seens long between FP and IL, considering that name check shouldn't take more then a week in most cases.
Sacramento is (per USCIS) working on June 19 dates. I assume that's when they close the file (Oath done etc). Considering that this info is a month old, they would now do July. Since I filed in October 07, the whole gig should by my calculation be over in 3 to 4 month. That would be pretty much in line with the most dates I see here.
So the question is if there is a somewhat reliable method to figure out how long it takes between the steps and more over why.
