Just wanted to let you all know that today I received mails from USCIS that my FP results have reached them and processing has resumed on my case. Mails for both mine and my wife's FP results came in today.

Now waiting for approvals

Good to here. I received FP notices for first week of Dec,2004. I have not given finger prints yet. USCIS not updated the records with "FP notices set info".

Question : Do you think USCIS has already sent my name for FBI name check at the same time USCIS sent FP notices?

Did they mail you the confirmation of your FP reaching them and approving it or was this online? I have not received anything via mail, however online status says that they received it and processing has resumed.

The status update was received only after FP and there was no change in LUD or e-mail when I received the FP notice.

Generally the trend is that the name check is done much before the FP. Mostly the name check request is sent to FBI right after the 485 is filed. I have a sent a mail to FBI a week back to get the name check result. You can do the same. Expect a response in atleast more than a month.

The status that you see on the USCIS website can be mailed to you directly if you have set up the e-mail option in your USCIS portfolio. The contents of status update e-mail are same that you see on the website so don't worry about e-mail.
 
We did FP on November 3rd in Atlanta. But our status has not yet changed. Wondering why. Is there anyway to find out why they have not udpated our FP. Any suggestions?

Call FBI

Just call the FBI national number and make sure they have sent the FP results to USCIS. If yes than don't worry about it. Evereyone does not get update mails and it has no bearing on the approval time ( based on experiences of people here )
 
No news about my FP

I-140 12/12/03 (LUD 11/2/04)
I-484 12/31/04 (LUD 1/7/04)

FP 11/6/04

We sent letter (811/8/04) to fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov enquiring about our FP. Till today no email from them.

Hope to get mail in few days .
