FP Rescheduling

I received FP notice for my wife yesterday. However, I would like to reschedule it. I heard that, if rescheduled, the next date could be anywhere from 1 month to 3 months from the previously appointed date.

I also read somewhere that, I have up to 90 days to go to INS Support Center AFTER the appointed date.

What should I do?

1. Reschedule any how and not take chances?

2. Go and do FP within 90 days of expiry of first appointed date.

Please advise.
