FP Rescheduling - Anyone ?

Guys,

Mine is a WAC-02-093 case. I have not yet received my 2nd FP. I will be travelling out of US in Feb. If i get the FP notice in my absense I may need to reschedule it. Just wanted to know what are the effects of rescheduling an FP appt.

Has anyone done this before ?

As long as you reschedule it before the appointment date it is fine.
if you see the notice it says if you fail to turn up on the due date your case may not be proceeded with. Just make sure you reschedule on / before time.
 
If you are traveling for a month, it should be OK. Since the appointment date is usually more than 4 weeks from the notice date.

Effects: The notice itself mentions that you might experience delays by rescheduling. Straight from the horse's mouth. Not a good idea.
 
10 days notice

I just recd my 2nd FP notice for Jan 16th. The website didn't update very quickly. so if you are going abroad. you need to be careful about checking every couple of days.
