FP renewal

All, I think the USCIS is renewing FP's. I remember there were some threads discussing this possibility.

I gave my FP in June 06 (see signature). I got approved now without an FP update notice, almost 22 months later.

Hence the FP being void after 15 months is no longer true.

This is good news for people waiting for a long time as it'll eliminate one potential bottleneck.

did you notice any LUD's on your other applications like approved I-140 and old EAD's and AP's before u got your approval?

Yes, they seem to have touched the I-140, AP etc before my 485.
Could be regular processing, could be that they were checking for inconsistencies/errors.
Difficult to tell.

That may be true for some, but not for all. I gave my fingerprints in the spring of 2007 and just got renewal notices !! I have to go again. Sigh.
