FP rejected twice due to poor quality

I did FP twice, and by calling FBI, I found out the 2nd was rejected too. What was my option now? I was so unfortunate that both FPs were done by the same lady. I am worried that the thrid one will end up being rejected too. Very frustrated.

Will my application end up being transferred because of this?

It is very likely that you won't get 3rd fingerprint notice because back in 2001, CIS published a rule that if FP was rejected twice, the case will need to be transferred to local CIS for interview.

I am in similar situation. I did 3rd FP with the notice my lawyer received for 2nd FP. By calling FBI, they told me the 3rd FP was successful. But still, my case got transferred and I had never received 3rd FP notice.
 
What does transfer to local for interview mean? Have you been interviewed? Or is this another long and winding road?

I am doing my N-400 application
I spoke with my congresswoman's office and they were told by the liason that if the 2nd one is rejected, there will be a "special interview". I asked her what a special interview means and she said it would be part of the regular interview. No other details.

Immi_2003, Can you tell you what you about a case getting transferred to local CIS?

I have the same problem. I have excessive sweat problem becoz of which my FP don't come fine.

How long does it take to get the case transferred to the Local USCIS office. I have filed my labor from NJ. So would my local NJ office be Newark, NJ.
How long does it take in the local office for the case to be called.

Why do people involve Congressman for cases like this as i have seen in the forum. How do you even contact a congress man.

Can you please provide some more information on this. I appricate you sharing you experience with us. Thank in advance for your help.
 
I went for my 2nd, 2nd fingerprint today due to the snow in Hartford my hands cracked really bad she was really nice and tried hard to make it clear but was unsucessful but she advised that I would not have to go for a 3rd and that they will just use the information they have already collected on me.
hope its true HArtford is not very good at clearing up the snow I really don't want to go back there but my case is there anyway so I will have to go back for the interview.. any ideas are how long a case takes from 2 nd FP

AD awaiting patiently but it is slowly running out.

Just wanted to share with you my experience for hand care:

My hands are usually very dry with crackles. Just a few days before the fingerprinting, several finger tips didn’t have clear fingerprints. So I went through intensive hand care by using True Blue SPA gloves and hand cream purchased from Bath & Body works. Believe it or not, every a few hours I could see the improvement on my fingerprints. If you don’t want to spend too much for the SPA gloves, Latex gloves might help also.

My I-485 was approved a month ago. Just a few days before passport stamping, I did the same procedure for hand care. The PP went also smoothly.
