FP rejected, case to be transferred or collect police reports?

I read from posts on the board that if FP rejected twice by FBI, the case may be transferred or INS may request for a police report in lie of background checks. Since my FPs have been rejected twice, I will greatly appreciate any inputs on this issue.

how do u know it is rejected twice? did u call FBI and the told u this
or you talking abt alarm/rejection msgs when they took ur FP on computer?
 
I also got my 1 FP done on 10/28 at Boston with my wife . The status shows a change in my wife's case on 11/04 but there is no change in status as well as LUD in mine one. I am concerned here... I would appreciate if some one can post the FBI number for FP status query....
