FP received/resumed status

My ND is Aug 2002 (concurrent I-140/I-485 filing). Gave FP in Sep 2002. When I called FBI within 3 days after giving my FP, they told me that they have already send my FP results to BCIS. Recently the case status changed stating that on July 9th 2003 BCIS received FP results and processing resumed. Don't know why there is so much gap between the time FBI send the results to BCIS and the time BCIS acknowledged receiving my FP resutls.

Does it mean that I can expect something soon (either RFE or approval if I am too lucky) on my case ? BTW I am single. Please suggest.

Status

My ND is also August, 2002. I did the FP in September, 2002. My status is not updated online.

Right now NSC is processing 2001 August cases. Their estimate is 26 months for processing. By considering that we may listen from them sometime next year.

Yeah,

They want to approve as many single men as possible to improve the 86 men to 100 women demographic imbalance. But, beware; most of the imbalances are in the 70 years plus category. So you may want to reconsider and write to the INS asking them not to approve your petition ahead of the others.

Also, on why it took them so long to update their database, INS runs this database on PDP-11s and it takes a while for these systems to execute instructions. Unfortunately, these machines were made before speculative look ahead buffers were invented!:)

Is there a point to what you are saying ? Posting useful info. would help others. Sarcasm will dilute the message and people will start loosing interest.

gccard2002,

I see that you have been in these forums much longer than me, and in any case, long enough to know the answers to the questions you posed. There were at least two threads in just the past couple weeks that talked about messages changing after a considerable time after the FP took place, wondering rather hopefully what might be behind such a change. Did you really expect to get real answers, and if so, I wonder what they might be.

PS: I do not mind at all if people lose interest because some of my messages are laced with sarcasm. I am used to being ignored. Ain't I an I-485 applicant?:p

Hahahaha! Sorry Gcard2002, I couldn't help laughing. We do have some very useful info posted at "Greenland Summary Report". Check it out and hope your can get some clue what's going on. BTW, I don't think being single have anything to do with the case. you still need to wait for your turn.

Oh, I forgot that Gcard2002 is opposing Greenland scrip. So don't you down load "Greenland Report Summary" please. You know one thing that will help, be patient and your turn will come up.

See, that's what I was talking about. Now I got something useful info. from two guys after that message I wrote. :)

That's all I requested for. Thanks.

How sexist! How do you know it is two guys? Even if we gloss over my gender, clearly user wandergirlus, because there is a girl in the pseudonym, appears to belong to the fairer sex. Even if this is not the case, one can at best say that it is inconclusive.:o
