I did my FP at San Jose (Story Rd.). Not a hassle at all. Go there around 8am with your Driver\'s license and FP notice (make a copy before hand as they keep the original). I have heard that lately they do not accept anyone before the appointed date but you might want to try that.
In all it takes less than 30 mins. The drive up US-101N was a big pain!
