I received notice for finger printing on 03.14.01, 11AM at Alexandria, VA.
I would be able to make on that day but my wife won\'t. She will be there on 03.17.01.
I went to the center and asked whether I should reschedule. The receptionist says not required. As long as she is able
to make it within one week time frame, she need not reschedule.
Anyone had similar experience? Should I go by the receptionist\'s words or should I verify with INS by calling them?
My notice clearly says, if I am not able to make on that particular time, I should reschedule. I showed that to the
receptionist, but he still maintains his response.
Any help will be appreciated.

I would say you can go ahead and reschedule for your wife in safe side and try to go on 3/17. If they allow her to take FP fine and ignore if you get a recheduled FP notice otherwise go on rescheduled date. Don\'t take any chances not to attend or reschedule on given date and time. The new notices are clearly saying if you can\'t make it on appointment date/time you have to reschedule otherwise your application will be considered as abandoned.

How do I reschedule? When I asked them about rescheduling, they say
not required if printing within a week. I went personally and tried
to hand them over the notice for rescheduling.
Is there any other way to reshedule?
