FP question

I am a recent member to this forum and have ffound the information here to be very helpful. Thanks to all.
I am a Nov 2003 concurrent filer but got the FP notice in sep 2004.
Does anyone know how long the FP process takes? And the FBI name check process?
I have noticed a lot of Oct 2003 and earlier people getting approved. Has anyone seen a Nov 2003 approval?

I also filed our 140 and 485s in November 03. My wife did her FP in Mar 04. I haven't gotten my FP yet. Applied for EAD and AP renewals on Sep 29, 04. Got our EADs a week ago. Haven't gotten APs yet.

The FP takes about 20 minutes. Just show up at the appointment with the neccesary docs. and the whole process is relatively painless.

This whole name check thing is something I don't fully understand. However, it is a step that is completely transparent to you in the sense that you are not involved in that process.

And no, I have not seen any Nov 03 filers approved,but I could be mistaken.
