FP Question. Please respond.

Hi There!

I have received FP notice last Thursday but my wife did not.

Does INS send the FP notices in different days? Anybody has/had same kind of experience?

Can we do the FP same day even if wife didn't receive the notice by that time?

If I want to do the FP in different city than mentioned in the Notice what will be the procedure?

Please share your thoughts.

It is likely that the delay may be in mailing etc.

I would suggest checking up the status at site https://egov.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/cris/jsps/caseStat.jsp

I would visit the office only if I have the notice in my hand.

TAKE YOUR WIFE WITH YOU.

Hi, I have noticed from other people's experiences that you could take your spouse along with you , with her 485 receipt notice and passport and driver's license and request that the two of you be fingerprinted together. YOU SHOULD GO TO THE CITY MENTIONED IN YOUR FP NOTICE THOUGH. I have seen an instance where the spouses got FP notices to different cities and went together to the same city and were allowed to be fingerprinted.
