FP procedure comparison (do results from "electronic" scanning reach back INS fast

Folks,

I am scheduled for FP at Manchester, NH INS center. I have heard they use the ink and paper method of FP.
In my proximity, BOSTON INS center uses "electronic" scanning.

Which procedure is faster in overall results reaching back INS? Does anyone know?

Does anyone have experience with paper and ink method? thanks

This is from experiece...paper and ink, took FBI and back to INS, 7 working days. Electronic, 2-3 days.
