FP Problems - Need Help

Hi Folks,

Here is the situation. I completed my fingerprints on 1/27/01. These were approved and sent to INS by FBI on the same day. Unfortunately, at the FBI service center (fingerprints service center), they entered a wrong alien # on the computer system, which I came to know at a later date.

My question to you all, do I have to go for second fingerprinting.

Has any of you been in this situation.

Any input will be appreciated.

How did you come to know about it "at a later date"? Did you call NSC? IF so you could have asked them what to do. If not then take a copy of your notice and expalin to the FP authorities what happened and may be they will redo it.

OR you call NSC and check to see if they will send you notice again soon. Anyway, keep the stamped copy of having done the FP for records.
