FP or RFE?

I received an email from USCIS this morning and am not sure what it is about:

"On June 17, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or
information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional
material is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is
required, or if 14 days have passed and you have not received the notice,
please call the National Customer Service Center ...."

I suspect it is a RFE, but I've not done my 2-FP yet. Also I've checked my wife's case, which has a LUD of 6/16. Strangely, there is no status change for her. Any suggestions?

I would say it is a RFE. Sit tight and things will go well.
