I485 as follows:
EB2/RIR / India PD (04/99)
I485 ND 12/08/2000
AP rec\'d 1/30/2001
FP ND: 02/06/2001, FP date: 02/27/2001 @ Oakland CSC
Questions for the wise are:
1) Can anybody share their Oakland FP experiences? Can
we show up for our appointment time or do we need to
line up for much longer than that?
Anything to watch out for? Like bad FP\'s?
2) My wife\'s employment situation is tenuous. While at
the same time I have a CP in parallel (sending packet III
to Mumbai).
Can it be possible that we do FP (and maybe even get an
approval) but then we go for (either by choice or by
employment circumstances) CP anyway and get the GC
stamp based on my CP?
3) How long can we expect the approval to take after the
FP?
Till a couple of days ago, when it looked like CSC was asleep
again, we were thinking about CP as our primary appplication
but getting an FP notice, and that too with a Feb date (unlike
some March dates that we\'ve been seeing) is making us think again.
