FP notice sent by computer?

Hi,

I just got off phone with an INS officer. Not much progress on my case,
except that she told me the FP notices are sent out by computer
 periodically. As far as I can guess, last cut off date was 3/8 or
3/13. Oh, well, we are approaching mid of Jun now. Does anyone know
in the past what the gap was between two FP batches? I hope it was
three months and is going to be three months so that we can expect
FP notice very soon.

ciba seemed to think it was around 3 months last time between 2 FP notice batches.. i don\'t remember his exact words. but should be anytime soon. oh, well... i am prepared for the wait! and whatever else it takes!

Hi takeiteasy and others,

According to past experiences, CSC sends out finger prints to
a bunch of applicants when they think they will be in full
swing in processing or will be about to clean up current cases.

I remember last year in May/June period, CSC all of a suddent
started issuing finger prints to all of us after a very long
pause. We all got our cases approved shortly after finger
prints were done. Similar things happened late last year
when a bunch of folks got FP notices and cases approved
shortly after.

Therefore, when we see next FP batch, it is a very good sign
to both old and new cases.

issuing FP again.

Just to make you feel better, mine has a ND as 2/2/01 but I haven\'t received any FP notice yet.

According to my memory, the last FP notice batch started around Jan 20th and lasted for 2+ months.
Before that, there was a drought (no FP notice) for about 2 months.
Most people with ND:10/2000~02/2001 got their FP notices in that batch.

If the past experience will repeat itself, the new batch should be coming soon.
