FP Notice Received

Hi All,
I received the FP1 notice for my wife yesterday, scheduled on 11/12. Meanwhile, she left for India for a Vacation just a week ago. I want to postpone her FP until she comes back (in late Dec.).
My question: is there a timelimit within which one must complete the FP, after the notice has been sent ? Has anybody from the Forum done it before ?
Please share your experiences. I am yet to get my FP notice and am curious if I can complete mine before my wife.

did you do anything that you know of, which might have triggered FP notice. Like sending any kind of renewal application or change of address etc.

I actually did change my address in September, but I don't think that triggered any thing since they still sent the FP notice to the old address and a friend of mine who filed I-485 around the same time got his notice to.
