Its funny that yesterday I was advocating someone to stay put and be patient regarding their case and I got a big blip in my case when I checked my mail yesterday.
I had moved 3 months ago and notified USCIS about the address change. They confirmed it in a letter to me saying that my address has been changed on all my petitions. I also got my EAD at the new address so I was very satisfied that the address has been changed.
Yesterday, I a FP notice was forwarded to me by the USPS. The notice was from USCIS asking me to come for a FP. This would be my second FP as FP expires in 15 months. It said to come by March 10th or else my application will be considered abandoned and denied.
What do you guys think my options are? I am planning to do a walk in today to get the FP done. At the same time, I will be writing to USCIS explaining the situation and will send them all the correspondence I got from them. I am still not thinking about getting an attorney...no not yet. Oh yeah, I called USCIS CSR and they told me ot write to the ASC instead of DO. It does not make sense to me so I'll write to both. I also have an infopass appointment for April 4th.
I will let you guys know later today how things went at ASC. Anything else you guys think I should do?
As always...confused but smiling
