FP notice: is a photocopy sufficient?

My attorney had faxed me the FP notice that he received (as I did not receive curtousy copy).

Is that good enough? Did any one went with a xerox copy and came succesfully FP done?

Yes ... The fax should be good enough.
My wife used a FP notice which was faxed by the INS .
My lawyer had lost our notices and we hadn\'t received another copy of the notice till the day our FP was scheduled. So we requested the INS to fax us a copy.

How did you request INS to fax FP notice? Was it through phone or by ax? If you know the fax# of INS (VSC) for requesting the FP please post it.
My ND is 10/00 and I have not received any FP notice yet. Called IIO last week, he said was supposed to be sent earlier and I am not sure whether it is missed in mail or lawyer missed it. Anyway I requested for another FP over phone. but I am not sure that will work out. So if you have the fax number pleae post it.

Reda the mail posting carefully Uday! His lawyer faxed hime a copy of the Notice which the laywer received by mail!

My attorney told they need orignal copy and he gave me the real one. I thing if you have time try to get orignal, we don\'t have time to play with them.
 
I think you need the original

I remember seeing some posts either here or at isn.org some time
back saying you need the original FP notice.
In my case my lawyer mailed the originals to me. The best thing will
be ask your lawyer to mail the originals to you.
