FP notice from local INS office?

my application and my wife\'s are processed in NSC. But we lived in LOS Angeles. I did FP last DEC. and my wife did it just last month for FBI checking. Today we receive two latters(one for me and the other for my wife)from LOS Angeles INS office.It asked for our FP again. I don\'t what happened. maybe they lost my FP record? if so the letter should be send from NSC not my local INS office. Do you make any sense? Comment it! Thanks

INS has million rules to follow. They applied one of that rule
to you. So, do what the notice asked you to do, least bother
about sense or else.
