My Case Details

I-140 ND 09/28/03, awaiting approval
I-485 ND 08/11/03, awaiting approval
EAD Approved on 11/12/03,

Today I received an e-mail from USCIS about the status update on my I-485 case. It says On June 22, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording.

But there is no sign of any change in the I-140 status. R they planning to approve 140/485 together ? My attorney says that only cases filed after 30/4/04 are in for CONCURRENT ADJUDICATION and not me ! Does he really know what he is talking about ?

Looks like your I140 and I485 were filed at a different time. This should also be considered as concurrent failing case.

Since the dates were different, they have sent you finger printing late.

I'm also on similar situation.

I140 - Nov 5 03
I485 - Dec 7 03
EAD/AP - JAN 04
No FP yet

Hi, Are these dates correct. I think your I140 date has to be before I485. Can we file other way around. Please let us know. Thanks.
 
I guess there was a typo in the dates I mentioned. My 485 should go as 11/08/03. I don't think we can file the other way round.
 
What about mine ... both my I-140 and I-485 are filed on the same date 11/07/03 ..... does my case considered as concurrent ??????

EAD -- 12/19/03
Finger Prints -- May 26 and cleared in June 6th

Still waiting for I-140 and Advance Parole
