FP notice date vs actal FP

Just talked with an IIO and was told that it takes 2 months after your
finger printing to get your case assigned to an officer. I have read on this board that it is 2 months after your FP notice date not 2 months after your actual FP. Any ideas?

I too got such misleading answers from the IIO\'s.
My take is , do not believe such crap. It is a new way devised to take the heat.
These IIO\'s are clueless and keep on misleading.
On this site itself we can find tons of approvals who cases have defied such rules .

As in my case, most cases appear to be approved within 25-30 days after FP. In my case, the approval date was 4/26/01 and FP date was 3/29/01.

I have seen very few cases that exceed 1 month, most of which require RFE\'s.

I wish it is true. They have sent FP notices for Aug/2000 cases in Jan. But they\'ve not got approvals yet
