FP notice after name check has been cleared

I am still waiting for my PD to become current. Through the congressman inquiry, I learned that my name check was cleared as of last September. Today a finger print notice is sent to me.

Are there anyone in the same boat? What does this new FP notice mean? Are they going to do another round of name check on my case? That would be horrible as the first name check took 3 year and a half to be completed.

I am in a similarboat. Was sent FP notices after 2 years but this time I got Code 3. All ten FP plus BIOmetrics. Did you get code 3 as well.MY PD is "U" is as well after being curret for over 2 years.
Regrding your question No I do not think FP necessarily mean name check.

This FP notice is code 1. Last FP was code 3, which was before my name check is cleared

Did you recently apply for an EAD renwal. That could have triggered and FP or simply when you made the congressman enquiry they found out that your FP's had expred so they just want your FP on record.
