FP notice after FP long done

I did my FP on Oct 31, 02 and it was a manual call case. The oneline status was never updated, however, all of AVM, FBI, and IIO have confirmed that my FP info. was returned to BCIS early Nov. Suprisingly, I got a FP notice last week asking me to do FP again and the second FP notice suggests no info. on my previous FP.

Based on all the confirmation I have, I don't believe that there was anything wrong with my first FP, I tend to believe that the IIO who issued my second FP simply overlooked my case.

ANY similar experience?

ffidx,

Don't worry about it. I am in the same boat.

ND: Nov. 2001
FP: Jan. 2, 2003
AVM/Online Message: "On Jan. 8, the results of your FP was recieved ... processing has resumed ..."

But on March 20th, I got another FP notice asking me to appear on April 26th.

My lawyer told me, if I get my approval before that date, I don't have to go. But if not, she asked me to go for the 2nd FP.

TSC might have made a mistake by sending us the 2nd notice. But if we fail to appear, the case will be considered abandoned.

It's a pain ... but what to do?

Hi Bajji's,

My wife got her 3rd FP last week from Atlanta ASC after a couple of weeks of her 2nd FP done. We went last Saturday again and my wife explained the ASC folks about her previous FP that she got from TSC INS and the ASC lady checked in the system and told everything went thro' (cleared) in 2nd FP and she also told my wife that it was not required to take one more time. She also singned the letter stating the same and gave the letter back to us.

The reason why my wife got 3rd FP from ASC is that they received the info from FBI for her 1st FP results (which were rejcted) after almost 3 months and in the mean time I called TSC to get her the 2nd FP.

my concern

What I am worrying about by getting the second FP is that:

BCIS may think that my case doesn't have FP done (even though it does), as a result, my case will never to put onto an approval officer's desk. In other words, due to the error information in BCIS's computer system, my case may be put onto a wrong "line" and never get corrected.

Hi Why-R2,

Thanks a bunch for your post. I am happy that you at least have an explanation for the 2nd and 3rd FP. ffidx and my cases are puzzling! I called TSC only once to get my FP notice and it went through fine. Now why the 2nd?! Oh well ...

I too will tell them about my previous FP. I'll post my experience on April 26th.

Have a great day!

same here

here is my story:

after repeated calls to INS texas center, I got my finger printing done in January. But nothing for my wife, even though logically we shouldve had it done on the same day since I am the primary applicant. After calling numerous time, they sent a finger printing notice for my wife in the 3rd week of feb asking her to go for her fp on the same day I went in Jan!!!! Just imagine their inefficiency. Anyway, we called our lawyer and was told to go for FP with that backdated notice , they will let us do it. And yes the Fp was done with that backdated notice without any hassle. Her case status has yet not been updated with ,'' we received your FPresult....".

And now, get this! after we have gone thru our FP, we recived 3 ( yes THREE!!) more Fp notice for myself ( one to my old address, one to new address, one to lawyer) and one more for my wife!!!??!! But as per our lawyers advice, we just ignored those notices.
THanks.
