FP @ newark, NJ

My wife received a fp2 notice sch. on 5/28. She is likely to leave tomy home country a week before the fp date. She cannot postpond or prepone the trip as it is very very important to be there on these specified dates.

I read few posts where in they can go in for early fp. Some posts state that if you sch. for an early fp they might not allow you and some say that you can just walk-in and Fp will be taken.

How does Newark office deal with this. What are the best options available.?.. WIll going in early delay AOs??please suggest.

I am in the same boat, unfortunately even i have a similar problem but dont know what to do.

I have heard from people that you could go earlier than the scheduled date and its at their discretion of INS officer to do it or not.

Also i have heard that people who got FP done earlier than the scheduled date had delays in GC later on..... dont know what to do.
