FP - need advice

Hi,

Applied for I485 in Dec 2004 (I-140 in Oct 2004, got approved in May 05).

My wife got her I-797 notice for FP code 3 letter for Sep 2nd, but nothing for me (I am the primary applicant).

We both went to the local ASC (it was a 4hrs drive) and I asked if they could do FP for my application as well as it was long way to come again.

The officer was nice enough, she printed out a letter using my A# and did code 1 for me.

My wife's LUD updated to 9/2. However, no updates for me.

I called FBI to check on status of FP for both of us and they told me its already sent to INS.

Has anyone else been in this situation? I am really worried why there was not FP notice for me.

Is this something I need to worry about?

Its good that u also got FP done.

Check online msg if it shows FP collected.

Call TSC directly and talk with them that if they have records showing about ur FP results received,

Becz Spouses are more blessed. :D . don't worry many ppl are in same situation they got later, if u get FP notice in mail don't miss and do it again, and don't assume that becz u already done FP,

One more thing, plz treat this as friendly advise nothing than more.
Try to prefer and use some optismistic user ID, and always be hopeful.
remember if u keep thinking pesimistic way your worst dream may come true as 'never ending process' .

GC is not everything in life, if u put too much foucs on it u may loose many important thing around you. be hopeful, and think in this way if G.C is written in Luck it would come on right time.

Thank POJ, I guess you are right. I have been too worried about this whole thing all this time. I will definitely take your advice and change my user id.

I had another question, where do you specify the mailing address for 485 receipts? It seems my lawyer/employer (not sure, I never checked with them) received it. Do you think I should get it from them?

Please excuse me if this is a dumb question, I am really new to this process and already getting frustrated.
