I am a new poster here and am a bit confused.
I saw some posts where they did not do FP, but their case status is FBI Namecheck.
I also saw some case doing biometrics after their I485 approval.
My questions:
Don't you have to have FP to be doing FBI name check?
Don't you have to get your biometrics done before you get your approval?
My I485 was filed in early June and I still haven't received any update or the FP notice.
However, I e-filed I765 and was asked to make a biometrics appointment for I765. It is not until early November. Does anyone know if that biometrics be used for not only I765 but also I485?
Any help would be appreciated!
