Hi Gurus

I have a question regarding FP. I had sent in the AR-11 to INS in December 04 stating that I have moved from CO to CA and now I have got my FP notice which shows that I need to go to CO for the FP.

I have read on this forum that people usually show up at the service center close to the 'new' address and they are usually accepted for FP.

Does anyone have any idea with regard to the San Diego and if they accept such kind of walk-in's ?

Also which center in this page would I need to go to ?

Would appreciate any insight into this ?

Thanks !

my experience

I was in the same boat. We moved from MA to DE. We went to the nearst ASC before the scheduled date and expalined the situation and we showed copy of the change of address confirmation. They asked us for the DE license and told us to come on the scheduled day. Sometimes they do on the same day.

Hope this helps,

Have You called 1-800 number and informed them of your move? You have to call customer support and inform them of your move. Filing AR-11 will not modify the address on the pending application. Keep Receipt number and A# in hand while calling them.

As for FP is concerned you can go to local office and give your FP. Most offices accepts that if you inform them you have moved to new location.

Hi Tammy

Yes I have called them and informed them the week I sent my AR-11 itself.
