FP in San Jose office - Please help

I have got the FP notice and the apo is on 21st Oct in San Jose office.
1. Can I go to the local office for my FP earlier than this date ?
2. I don't have the original i-485 receipt, my lawyer is not sending me the original, I have only the photo copy, can I take that for FP or I must need the original?

Yes, you can go for early FP at San Jose. You don't need to bring the 485 receipt. Just bring the photo Id (something like driver licence or passport) and the fingerprint notification.

Yes you can do Early FP.

Go on Saturday 10 to 1.00 pm. You need to take FP notice, Photo ID (Driver license). 15 minutes you can finish your work. You do not need i-485 receipt.

1st FP experience at San Jose Application Support Center

Today I have done my first finger printing in San Jose Application Support Center. I took the original FP notice and my DL. They kept my FP notice and returned me Application Information Worksheet( AIW ). The process took 15 mins, there was no Q in the application center( I went there at 10:45 am ).
