FP in Columbus

I tried to do FP yestoday moring, there is no one in the room, but the lady did not allow us to do. she told me I can only do the FP after the scheduled date, if I cannot do on the scheduled date. I know a lot of people did their FP ahead of time, but this is not true in Columbus, Ohio
 
Thanks for sharing. It sounds the local offices are trying to put things in order and eliminate wating lines. Maybe it's part of restructuring the work all over USCIS? it looks like it is. I heard Detroit are the same as well.

St.Louis USCIS does not allow early FP too.
I went a month before in Aug they asked me to come back on schedule date or after.
I went on schedule date then. Still waiting for online msg to change. No LUD /online change.

I'll be going to that office on 10/7 for EAD FP and try for my 485 2nd FP which is scheduled for 10/28. I may not be lucky but will post the details.
