You can go to Philly ASC to get an early FP. I did last week. Was scheduled for 08/25. Here are a few suggestions based on my experience.
* Try to go on a Wednesday and be there before 10:00 AM. Saturday's and Tuesday's are busy days for them....if you are tied up on weekdays, due to work, try Saturday but be there before 7:00 AM
* Do not volunteer information that you are there to do early FP. Just show them the FP notice
* Take your passport with you apart from DL and ensure both your hands do not have any cuts. Give them no chance to send you back.
Also, I happened to stray into the NSC forum saw your post and hence am replying. Anything related to philly will draw greater response in the VSC forum

SGI , Thanks a lot for information. Actually my processing is done from nebraska but local INS centre is philly since we stay there...That is why I posted this question here....anyways, I got to read ur message today but went for fp on sat. As u mentioned, we did all the mistakes we shudn't have done..
-- on sat , we reached around 9
-- did not have our passports since last time when we took it they said no need to bring .. so we did not take this time...
Lady at the entrance told us that we are too early for fp , we just said that we were here in philly hence we came today and there is no other reason for early fp. Then she looked at the no of people and asked for our passports .. on that we said we dont have it either but the lady at the entrance counter somehow let go of all things and allowed to take our fps...
That was how the process went. Thanks for all the information again.
