FP for I-485 and I-765

I had my biometrics and FP taken 2 weeks ago. The appointment notice was for I-485 (code 3). I had infopass appointment a month ago for iEAD and I was told to take my I-765 FP (code 2) at the same time as I-485. When I went for FP, I was told the code 3 should cover both I-485 and I-765 and I dont need to take separate FP for EAD. I haven't received any updates on website nor I have received my EAD. Does anyone have similar experience?

My understanding is that the LUD changes but no message change (from reading this forum). However, I am waiting for FP notice myself (Detroit office) for almost 3 months. My 486 RD 09/29/2005. Did you try a walk-in at the Detroit office?
