FP fees overpaid

Today I filed I-485, EAD and AP to NSC. I wrote 4 checks : $255 +$55+$120+$110. Then after I mailed the package I found the finger print fees should be $50, but in the check I wrote $55. What will happen? Will BCIS refund the $5 or will they return the whole package to me? Thanks!

They probably return the check to you and request appropriate fees, delaying you case. I never heard they cash checks with excessive amount and reimberse the extra.
