FP expiring.

I had earlier posted in a separate thread about our RFE info. As per AVM/online RFE issued on 08-04 and RFE response received on 08-18. Intrestingly my lawyer never received any RFE notice. My lawyer suspects that my file got missed up with someone else's--reason for RFE response recd status change on 08-18. They have sent a letter to BCIS explaining the situation.

Besides this my FP is expiring on 08-31. Therefore should I expect a 2nd FP notice or go to Newark office and do my 2nd FP without notice (I am not sure how this can be done or even feasible). I will be going to India end of this week (unavoidable circumstance) using my AP and come back on Sep 7th.

Please advise me.

RFE-08-04-03 (No notice received by the lawyer)
RFE response received 08-18-03 (Nothing was mailed for RFE response to BCIS by the lawyer)

Take a chance. 'WhenGC' did this and was able to do it.
Use evidence to show unavoidable circumstances for your travel and your lawyer not receiving the BCIS letters. Show that chances are: that your mails are not always reaching you / your lawyer.
