FP expiring soon, what needs to be done?

My FP will expire next month. I responded to my RFE and after I followed up through Senator, TSC replied that they would take 30 days to assign my case to officer. But at the same time my FP will expire.

1. Will TSC approve my case even if FP is expired?

2. If not, then what should I do so that they issue me another FP notice?

Please help.
 
Have you sent a fax to TSC telling them your FP is going to expire. Below is a letter Bajis posted a while ago.

I'm on same boat. Sending mail or fax is useless. TSC did not listen.

I sent fax and mail but nothing happened.

As per #800 number, 2nd FP depends from Officer to Officer.

MY FP also got expired.
contacted #800 , couple of time. They told 2nd FP is not always required.
It depends from Officer to Officer.

For me , RFE ACK date changed from 21st April to 21st Jun.

My RFE ACK date was 21st April.
Today online case status is showing
RFE ACK date is 21st Jun.
Is it possible?
Please let me know , if anybody has this experience ?

I faxed in a letter and then mailed it to TSC around May 20. It looks like it triggered a RFE in my and my wife's case.

What are the contents of the letter ? Did your atorney send the letter or did you?

I will try the option suggested by the people on this forum. I am summarizing the same here for reference to other people.

1. Call 800 and let them know.
2. Send a FAX to TSC. One copy to officer and another to Director.
3. Send a mail to TSC. One copy to officer and another to Director.
4. Follow-up thorugh Congressman/Senator.

Is there anything that I need to do then please suggest. I will try every option available.

I assume your Q was for me. The RFE was about EVL and company tax returns. My attorney replied. In his cover letter, he mentioned AC21.

I sent it myself. Asked the attorney, though and he thought it was a good idea.
 
Ok, it is good to know that even if FP expires, it is up to officer to approve with expired FP. However, as a contidency plan I need to know the procedure to issue a letter for FP. Has anyone done that? What is the procedure and how long does it take?
