FP expired! Please read....and help

Hello!

My RD/ND is 4/01.
FP 4/02 expired 7/03.
RFE ack TSC 3/22/04
They have forgotten to reissue my FP. When my congressmans office called they were told they are waiting for FBI clearance for FP (i guess they dont have a clue that this should be reissued).
What should I do?
My attorney has faxed an enquiry and has called the 800 number.
