FP expired, File with officer...

I called USCIS, and I was told that my case is with officer, and Fingure Prints are expired. any body in the same boat ?? how long does it take to get fingure prints ?
 
My case is in Charlotte Local office. My case was assigned to the officer on May 25th. My FP expired. The last time I gave was in 2005. I went to local office with an infopass yesterday, and I was told that my case was assigned to an officer and that my FP has expired, and as I was there, they handed the FP notice that were getting ready to mail out.

I got my FP done the same day(yesterday) at the local ASC.

Take Infopass and ask for FP notice

Please do not wait for FP notice. USCIS folks are so dumb that they will wait for FP results without issuing FP notice (as it happened to my wife in 2005). Please take infopass and ask for FP notice!

my PD is July 2003 hopefully i can see some good news from June Visa Bulltin. But my finger print was done Feb 2006, with 15 month rule, it is expired. Can I just set up an INFO pass and request a FP? I thought they will refuse to take any FP without an official notice.

Have some one done this way successfully without a FP notice?

They will not do FP at ASC without offical request from local DHS.

What you need to do is make an infopass appt and go to DHS office and ask them to issue a FP notice as your FP has expired, then take that FP and go to the ASC and give your FP.
 
I had an infopass appt at Philadelphia today.. and the dump lady told me to call the 1-800 number and they don't issue any FP notices. She was so dumb that i had to tell her that my file has been transfered to Texas center as she was telling me to call Vermont center. Finally she said to wait for the FP notice which will come when time comes.
 
These ladies at the counters are no better than the Airport Check in counter females.

Really they have the privilage to give you a FP notice. I got it twice. Once already printed notice and another one hand filled notice form.

Yesterday I got the FP notice that was ready to be mailed out. They handed over to me saying as you are here take it. Initially she declined to give me a FP notice saying that she cannot give, and it will come to me when time comes.

And Last time the officer said hey your FP is going to expire and he fulled up a FP request form and scribled with a pencil and asked me to go straight to the ASC and get the FP done. Which I did.

But your experience may vary depending on where you go and who you end up speaking with. The lady at our infopass appt said only TSC (where my case now is) can send FP notice, and at the next counter there was another CSR who gave FP notices to the applicant right then - even as our officer was saying they can't do so!
