The office is visible from University Ave and is in a strip mall. Says something like INS service center on the board outside.

Appointment was scheduled for 10 am. I arrived about 9:20 am. The INS agent at the entrance asks for your appointment notice, GC and driver license. She asks you fill a form and submit it to the next clerk.

Duly filled and then the next clerk checks the info and gives a call number. The office was almost empty and they called for me in less than 5 min.

The fingerprint technician took me to the scanner and took the prints. Both hands 4 fingers together and then each of 10 fingers (or well as many as you have I suppose) individually. This took about 5 minutes. She called over another person to verify the scan quality and then returned my appt notice and instructed me to retain it carefully as a confirmation.
That was it.

The whole office time took about 15-20 min.

Traffic related:
Drive time took about 45 min from Eden Prairie to the INS location. Traffic was heavy at 62 merge onto 35W-north bound. I left home about 8:35 am.

Overall, very smooth and none of the roughhousing I have come to expect of INS staff. Didn’t even have to wait until the designated 10 am time.

Best wishes.
