It took both of us (wife & self) approximately 25 minutes as there were several people waiting in line.
Fill out the form and gave back to the receptionist. He asked for employment authorization. Since I don\'t have EAD, I showed him my passport (he didn\'t want to see my Mass Driver\'s Licence). Gave me a number and waited for a few minutes.
For my wife, he asked her to show him the EAD card and checked her fingers (I assume to check if there was any cut on her finger.)
Our numbers were called. Again, that "supervisor" wanted to check our ID and the form.
Go to the back room and wait for a few minutes again. Finally, we were called up one by one to do the FP scan on computer. The lady gave us some lotion while she typed in my data. Then, she will asked you to check the info in that computer (This is important because sometimes, she can make a typing error -ie name mispelled, wrong SSN etc.)Then she started to take my FP. Each finger was scaned from side to side. She will give you more lotion if your skin was too dry. She will rescan again and again until it was passed. When everything was done, her supervisor will check the info Then, you are all set.
P.S. Sometimes, the lady won\'t ask you to check the info in the computer. You should ask her about it just to make sure she has everything typed in correctly. A guy who did the FP before us told us that they put the wrong SSN in that computer but he didn\'t know about it. When the supervisor was checking his record, she read his SSN number, he realised that it wasn\'t his number. He told her about the mistake and she "assured" him that they will change it.
