FP Done early at SJ on 10/13 (scheduled at Oakland on 11/2)

Thanks to advice from Bongo and others, I decided to go to SJ ASC for early FP - Saturday afternoon 2.30 p.m. - not much crowd, no waiting time, no questions asked (for early or scheduled ASC).

Will check with FBI on Monday. And as INS has started updating AVM, so that will make it easy to check after that if INS has received it.
 
Another in SFO

We went to SFO to do our FP, also scheduled in Oakland in the
first week of Nov. The officer there tried to discourage us,
but when we persisted, he let us do FP, after suggesting that
our approval might be delayed because of the early FP.

Doing the FP itself was a breeze - we were out of there in 15 mins.
 
San Jose > SF > Oakland in terms of ease of getting FP done early

I think Ciba said this earlier and we had definitely shown it to
be true.

My wife managed to do her FP early at Oakland
I did mine early at San Jose.
Both of us were scheduled at Oakland.

It will be iteresting to see whether my FP are sent to the
INS earlier (or later) than hers according to the CSC AVM.

AVM now says my FP were received by INS on 10/13,
so it appears that there is no harm in going early
to do FP at an ASC other than the one specified on
your FP notice.
 
AVM updates - says FP collected on Oct 17 and pending for review. Couldn\'t get through to IIO in la
