"FP done case resumed" means background cleared?

3 days after FP the online message changed to "resumed". Does that mean FBI cleared background check? Any of you has an idea?
 
NO. There're 2 FBI checks in 485, you only passed the easier one like almost everybody did. The second 'name check' or security check is what causes so many delays. hope by the time of your turn, the automation process will be in place, otherwise ....

How long do you think that the 2nd FBI name check takes from submission to receipt of results by INS?

if i knew, i wouldn'y have suffered so much (some other ppl have same expr., too).

i used to be mad with ins, but now i believe it's on fbi side.

be prepared for the worst(i.e, double your time estimate), that's all i can answer you.

...just waiting for interview date, and that's what they're telling me to wait for in order to get scheduled.
 
But--

if the 2nd round of FBI check does happen, why FBI does not directly work on it? Why should it inform INS first?
