FP Delays at VSC - Please update your statuses

I have raised the same issue a few times on different posts, but to no avail. I think VSC has seriously started slipping for FP and I do not understand what the long term of impacts of this will be. I was very keen to get my USC finished in 6-7 months as that was the going timeline, but I think that will not be.

Anyway is this happening only for NJ[EWR] filers or is it VSC in general. Please update your stauses if you have got FP notices since march or haven't. Thanks. My timeline so far..

N400 sent: March 8th
RD: March 10th
ND: March 20th
N mailed: March 23rd
N recieved: April 4th
FP: No update yet..
 
hi futcitizen,

Any idea when was your check for application fee cashed by the homeland security. I had send my application around 8th of this month using fedex overnight service and my checks are not cashed yet.

After Feb- Slowdown

I had got my FP notice asap but when i reached Newark that saturday, they had overbooked so they told me to come back any other day before 8 am..I had to go again the following week.

I believe the Newark Office blamed the VSC for over-scheduling, perhaps thats why VSC has slowed down on issuing FP notices.just my guess!!

Does anyone know how to check on whether FP is cleared or not with the FBI?I mean is phone call good or email or snail-mail?

Thanks for the FBI phone number, the lady was very courteous and told me my spouses and my Naturalization "FP" were cleared the same day as the FP date and sent back to USCIS (She said INS by mistake)...now is there anything else or just wait for interview date?

When is NAME CHECK inititated by USCIS?
 
GOOD NEWS, I recieved my FP from VSC yesterday, so seems like they are now catching up. Here's the timeline and I have listed NJ-400's dates also so we can track addition delays, Hope this helps.

my friend applay in may 2004 for naturalization .three month ago he recive this notice >>(this notice informs you that the INS has deemed your application for naturalization abandoned and denied.the INS has denied your appliction to failure to appear for fingerprinting).he applay for reopen motion...
question is : how long it take to get an answer?any one have the simelar situation ?any suggestion?

I applied on 21 May and my check got cashed on 26th. But my wife's application the check is still not cashed. kinda little concerned, does it happen in each case
 
I had my FP at Newark this AM. Scheduled time was 11:00AM. I reached there at 10 and was taken in immideately. With a wait of about 5-7 mins for my number to be called. I was out by 10:20. Pretty cool and a good feeling.

So one step done and lots more to go.

just wait.. and get your documents ready (tax transcripts, any speeding tickets and proof of the payment, marriage license, previouse marriage license.. etc etc.. lot of things but you get time to prepare).

i get my arms around all the possible documents i can gather for myself. going to bring a big folder(s) with me and also bring a photocopy of them as well. if they use my photocopy, that is great, if not, that is fine too.
 
Received FP notice yesterday for 6/21/05. Went to ASC today to get a more convenient date but officer said no appointments before end of June.
