Me and my wife just completed our FP in Atlanta, GA on 12/6/2001. Our fp notices asked us to finger-print at Alexandria, VA (our hometown)-on 12/15/2001, but unfortunately, I am on a temporary assignment in Atlanta for the next 6 months or so (working for the same company who sponsored my I-485). The Atlanta ASC (FP center) asked us no questions and took our finger-prints and informed us that we may get ourselves fingerprinted anywhere in US.
Now..Do we have an obligation to inform Virginia ASC (in Alexandria) or do the FBI/INS have a centralized system to track the FP procedure. Please respond asap.
