FP Code 3, one finger MATCH WARNING???

I just took my fingerprint at our local ASC center. They assigned me a Code 3 when I got there since it wasn't specified on my I-485 notice receipt.

When they took the ten fingerprints, all of them showed "pass" except for the one next to the little finger in the right hand, which showed "match warning". What does it mean? Anyone had similiar experience?

I'm concerned about it...thanks!
 
It's a software warning about quality of scans. It has nothing to do with your fingerprint matching the database. The matching against the database will be done later by FBI, not by CIS. Nothing to worry about at this point.
 
so matching warning means the finger size doesn't meet the requirement? i thought they found that i had one finger had the same fringerprint with some criminals. heheheh... :confused: hopefully it's not the case.

so will I see an update on FP under my I-485 application status on USCIS website? how long does it take to show up on the website, generally speaking?

whew............I seee.....thanks! :))

btw, I took my fingerprint on a walk-in basis and then after that I cancelled my initial appointment. I hope this will not cause any problem. Any experience on that? Thank you.

It may take few days ...or few weeks/months :rolleyes: according to other people's experience posted here. My guess that it's a pure lottery for an average person. Let's just relax, pray and wait. I am in the same boat.

Thanks for your replies. Yeah, I guess there isnt much that we can do at this moment. Relax..that's true.

btw, when they send me the green card, i hope they send something that's better than Shrek on it..haha!
