FP - Change in Status vs No Change

I have a few very genaral question regarding what happens after FP.

1)If after FP there is no change in status of your application(online), does that mean you are stuck in the name check?

2)Or does it mean nothing since some people get change in statys while others don't?

3)Will there be a change in status when the FP is received or does that haapen to only to some people.

Any experience/inputs will be appreciatied

After some days/weeks, your online status should say "Processing resumed....blah". Sometimes it does not happen. But no need to worry.

can please someone help me to give some knowledge where my case is stading.i have given my finger prints on 05/14/05 ,there was a lud on 05/16/05 but no message change.according to fbi they have sent my finger print results to uscis same day.there was one more lud on 06/16/05 but still no message change. a lot of worries .please help .my pd date is: april 2001,EB3,VSC,i140 approved sept.2004. i485 RD is: 04/13/05 . please appriciate any idea when my i485 will approve .thanks all.

Same boat here. My wide and I did the FP (code 3) at Davie, FL on 05/14/05. There were several LUDs on 05/16, 05/17, 05/18 and 05/19 but no message change.

I did some research and the approval generally is between a month or two after a Code 3 o Code 2 FP, but that is in MOST cases not all.

It would be nice to have some statistics on approval times after FP.

I-140: AD 03/15/05 (EB1)
I-485: RD 04/13/05 (TSC) LUD: 05/16,05/17,05/18,05/19

Hi,
It doesn't mean anything if your status is not updated or even doesn't appear online. I just called cause my case even doesn't appear online and you should call the National Costumer Service if you feel worry about it.
They aren't able to update all the cases online at this time. Some will be late some don't.

But I don't know how is the proceedings on I-140. But I just called today because the website couldn't find my status and I just wanted to be sure that everything was okay.
