This issue has just started for People who received and done FP recently and there is no clear answers to the following question's.
? What is the Code listed on the FP notice some have 2 some have 3 ?
These are some of the answers i read in the FP forum ?
Answer 1 : Code 3 stands for both Fingerprints and Biometrics
Answer 2: Recently they have introduced both Fingerprints and Biometrics to bypass the I551 stamp on the passport. Which means after I485 approval you need not have the stamp + Biometric done. Instead after I485 approval the Plastic card would be ordered automatically no need to go in person for the Biometric ( Pic )
? DO we need to have both Fingerprints and Biometrics done when FP's scheduled. These are some of the answers i read in the FP forum
Answer 1: One of them was just asked to do a FP alone and even though he requested for a Biometric he was denied
Answer 2: Another was asked to do both
Answer 3: Another did a FP and after some days received another notice for Biometric
I also read a posting which said the Fingerprints / Biometrics is recenltly introduced and some Center's follow it while other do not. Some people are worried if the Biometric is skipped during FP it may delay the process
People who have done recent FP's please share your taughts. Appreciate responces from people who have done FP's recently at "CALIFORNIA" for TSC.
